When we were younger, we never imagined buying an RV. When I met Tim, I very clearly let him know ” I don’t camp”. So, the fact that we now love traveling in our RV is surprising to everyone who knows me. We purchased our first travel trailer in 2018. It was a 24 ft trailer that we towed with our SUV. With running water, bathroom with separate shower, comfortable sofa, queen bed in a separate bedroom, heating and air conditioning- this sure didn’t feel like the camping experiences I had as a kid!

We met family and friends for camping outings all over Washington State where we live. We took our grandkids on weekend camping trips. We were having a great time.

Then in 2021 we did a 6-week trip through the western United States to visit several National Parks. When we returned home, we decided we would like to travel that way more often, but we wanted more room. So, we sold our trailer and purchased a 5th wheel. Now we are planning to do a 2-4 month trip every year to explore the USA.
